James Anthony Kosar, 3, passed away at Montefiore Children's Hospital on April 13, 2008 after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. He was born on June 10, 2004 to Kenneth and Teresa Bentivenga Kosar. Besides his parents, James is survived by his adored sister Gabriella of Yonkers, his cherished grandparents Vincent and Kathy (Pither) Kosar of Yonkers and Henry and Gloria (Anton) Bentivenga of Yonkers, his beloved great grandparents Rose Kosar and Mary Anton. Also surviving are his adored aunts, Angela and Lisa Bentivenga and Gina Kosar and his adored uncles, Ernie and Kevin Kosar and John Miller, his beloved cousins Lorenzo and Anthony Kosar. The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Committal service at Ferncliff Chapel in Hartsdale. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in James' memory to either of the following: Children's Brain Tumor Foundation WWW.cbtf.org, Children's Hospital @ Montefiore, Audrey's Umbrella, or Blythedale Hospital.
