A retired clerk for the City of Lucedale's Water Department who served for 30 years and a member of Rocky Creek Church of Christ, she died October 16. She was born November 23, 1929 in George County.
She is survived by her children Adrienne (Van) Howell, Wayne (Wanda) Ott and Jackie (John) Towles, all of Lucedale; stepdaughter Scherri (Paul) Holland of Lucedale; stepson Jimmy (Jan) Bailey of Niceville, Fla.; grandchildren; Heath (Melissa) Howell, Amanda (Jason) Slay, Dustin (Summer) Ott, all of Lucedale, Doyle (Brandi) Havard of Escatawpa and Tyler (Clarie) Towles of Clinton; great grandchildren, Brian E. Howell, II, Brett H. Howell, Brayden H. Howell, Brittany Trusler, Brianna Trusler, Braxton Slay, Blakely Slay, Tucker Ott, Andi Ott, Emery Ott, Piper Ott, Deanna Havard, Dara Havard, Gracie Huber, Brendin Walls, Brison Walls and Tori Walls; great great grandchildren Kinsley Gee and Bryar Gee; sister Anna Lee (L. V.) Bradley of Brooklyn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband L. L. Ott, Jr., Pearce Bailey and Claude Broun; grandson Brian E. Howell; parents Bryon and Annie Brockway; sisters Mary Ruth Henderson and Truly Dean Bond; and brothers Y. D. Brockway, Bill Brockway, and Charles "Bubby" Brockway.
Pallbearers included Heath Howell, Tyler Towles, Doyle Havard, Jason Slay, Dustin Ott and Brian Howell, II.
