Her two siblings were two brothers --- Nicholas Vaughn Lewis and William B. Lewis.
She was the wife of Rev. William H. Everton whom she wed on March 1, 1941 at Riverside Avenue Christian Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Rev. Everton preceded her in death.
She again married Tillman Joseph Johnson on October 8, 1977 in Ohio. He worked as a professor with Ohio State University. She worked as a guidance counselor with the Columbus County public school system for nine years before retiring in 1978. Mr. Johnson survived her in death.

"Elizabeth Anne (Everton) Johnson, 77, died November 26. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Broad Street Church. Arrangements under the direction of O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, in Ohio."
