Chester Royce Cook, age 84, Wichita resident and former Wellington resident, died April 3, 2020 at Wellington Health & Rehab. Royce was a retired realtor and insurance agent.

Royce was born on February 22, 1936, in Winfield to Chester William Cook and Dorothy L. (Connett) Cook.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Melba Jo Cook.

Royce was a member of the Celebration Baptist Church in Wichita.

Survivors include his son, Bob Cook and his wife Kay of Wellington; two grandchildren, Chrissy Donelson and her husband Garren of Richmond, TX, David Cook and his wife Maeve of Marshall, MO, and step-grandchild, Carolyn Parson of Andover, KS; seven great-grandchildren, Anakin, Rita, Lucas, Theren, Joey, Jeremiah, and Jacob.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford. Chaplain Layton Hein of Good Shepherd Hospice will officiate.

A Memorial has been established with the Alzheimer’s Association. Contributions can be mailed to or left at the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
