FRISCO REED DIES
Her death was Unexpected, She was sick but a short time and thought to be improving yesterday.

Miss Frisco Violet Reed died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lee Miner, on East Fifth avenue this morning at 5 am. She had been sick but a short time with malarial fever and was thought to be improving when complications set in and she passed away.
Frisco Reed has resided in Augusta all her life. She was born on a Frisco train near Severy, Kansas on September 10, 1889, as her mother was coming from Joplin, Missouri to her home at Augusta and was named Frisco because of that event.
She was the daughter of Joseph Reed, her mother having died when she was but 4 years old; and has since her mother's death made her home with her aunt, Mrs. Mary Welch, most of the time. She became a member of the Christian church at an early age and all who knew her loved her.
She leaves to mourn her parting a father and one sister, her mother, two brothers and one sister having proceeded her to the great beyond.
Funeral services will be held from the Christian church Friday afternoon at 2:30 with burial made in the Elmwood cemetery.
