Eighteen grandchildren. Funeral services Monday, Oct. 3 10am at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Gardens 242 No. Griffith Blvd. Griffith. Friends may call Saturday 7 to 10 pm. , Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm. Mrs Danavich belonged to the Moonlighter's Bowling Club of Munster, the Tuesday Morning Ladies League at Stardust II.

I can recall all of us as children talking about how Pearl had about 7 husbands in her life time. not sure if that is true, I do remember mail going to Pearl's house with the name Metcalfe, not sure what it was for or why. I also remember she had a close relationship with the Carter family, not sure in what manner. Pearl owned a house on Whitcomb in Gary, In and when she had my birth father Tom build shelves in one of the bedrooms to make it into a den she had a small safe put into the wall for her treasures, a book that had been in the family for years and given to the first born daughter down the line. and her crystal ball, only the ball didn't fit. In the beginning I believed she had powers but when I got into my teens I stopped believing and figured it was tricks, I really don't know for sure but she sure had her son Alex (Mick) believing in it. I remember when she passed, a couple of days before she had told me she was sorry for what was done to me, no one ever said that to me before...there were times i can recall when she protected me. Pearl hated snakes and made everyone promise to cremate her
