~ Audrey Moore was the second-born daughter of Barney & Ida Moore. She married Poley Beaver and had a son, Winford "Buddy" and a daughter, Doris. As a child, she had duties as a farmer's daughter, just as her siblings did. She was not a stranger to hard work, for it was required for survival. Her parents taught her to respect, fear, and love God at an early age. She accepted Christ as a young woman and loved telling others of Him. As an adult, she worked in the textile mills of Gaston County, NC of which she retired from. At the time of her passing, she had 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was 66 years old. ~
