Lois C. Jacque, 81, formerly of 9925 Glen Flora Road, Kiel died peacefully Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2007 at Willowpark Residence, New Holstein where she resided the past three years. She was the former Lois Barnes, born February 21, 1926, daughter of the late Joseph & Ilma Nerhbass Barnes. She attended school in Newburg, WI. On June 8, 1946 Lois married Harvey Jacque in Holy Cross, WI. Harvey preceded her in death on January 18, 1996. Lois was employed at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein for thirteen years and Harvey & Lois also farmed in the Town of Schleswig until retiring in 1988. She enjoyed milking cows, fishing, gardening and sewing. Survivors include her children: Robert (Diane) Jacque & Nancy (Matthew) Koenigs, both of rural Kiel, three grandchildren, Matthew Koenigs Jr., Amanda Koenigs & fiancée, Nick Boge, Luke Koenigs & special friend, Cassy Wright and one step grandson, Matthew Hebard. She is further survived by two sisters, Carol (Romy) Tackes, Wisconsin, Joann (Allen) Koopmann, Grafton, one brother-in-law, Adolph Dieringer, Port Washington, and two sisters-in-law, Darlene Barnes, Cedar Grove and Pat Barnes, Sheboygan. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy, Bob & William Barnes, and two sisters, Bernice Nothem and Jean Dieringer.
Entombment will take place in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
