Ronald D. Burbridge, 39, of 616 S. 35th St., died Sunday at Humana Hospital-University of Louisville after an illness. He was a native of Columbia and a self-employed mechanic. Survivors: his wife, the former Wanda L. Penick; a daughter, Donna Taylor; a stepdaughter, Octavia Jones; a stepson, Jesse Penick; his mother, Nellie Burbridge; a sister, Joyce Burbridge of New Albany, Ind.; and five grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, W.P. Porter Mortuary, 2611 Virginia Ave., with burial in Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
