Leo A. Puls, age 83, of 2514 37th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday night, January 4, 2015, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.

Leo was born on February 28, 1931, in Two Rivers, son of the late Fred and Cordelia (Fanslau) Puls. He graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1951. On July 28, 1956, he married Janice Schwartz, in Walsh, Wis. Leo was a fume hood specialist at Hamilton's for 43 years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed watching his grandkids events and working with electronics. Leo was a member of the Ecumenical Mens Choir, the Meister Singers, was active with the Two Rivers Softball Leagues, both playing and umpiring, officiated football and basketball games and enjoyed watching many Wisconsin sports teams on television.

Survivors include his wife: Janice Puls; his children: Kim Puls, and special friend, Barb of Denmark, Keith (Jean) Puls of Sheboygan Falls and Kris Watier of Las Vegas, Nev.; and his grandchildren: Joseph, Owen and Lorrigan. He is further survived by one brother: Roland (Kay) Puls; and his in-laws: Frances Puls, Shirley Puls, Elaine Olive, Arlene (Donald) Kuffel, Dolores (Gerry) Ewald, Joan Lesperance, Shirley (Walter) Kotarek, Walter (Alene) Schwartz, Duane (Linda) Schwartz, Dorothy Schwartz and Wayne Adams, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Pierre Watier; three brothers: Fritz, Howard and John Puls; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Leo and Clara Schwartz and in-laws: Irene Zorn, Bill Schwartz, Betty Adams and Eleanor Schwartz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with entombment at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Leo's name may be made to the .

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Puls family with funeral arrangements.
