Luella M. Herion, age 95, of 2021 Richmond Avenue, Manitowoc, died on Friday, October 7, 2011, at Mercy Health System in Janesville.
Luella was born on October 18, 1915, in Appleton, daughter of the late John and Martha (Miller) Holub. She married Harry Herion on April 10, 1937, in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1986. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She was employed at Mirro Aluminum until her retirement.
Survivors include two children: Jack (Kay) Herion, Valley Springs, CA; Dale (Mary) Herion, Janesville; eight grandchildren: Terry (Debbie) Farr, Two Rivers; Rick (Connie) Farr, Manitowoc; Ronald (Vicky) Farr, Slinger; Linda (William) LeCaptain, Manitowoc; Debbie (Kirk) Schwoebel, West Covina, CA; Tammy (Bruce) Yamashita, Fontana, CA; William (Keli) Herion, Lathrop, CA; Lorne Herion, Janesville; great grandchildren: Jamie (Amanda) Farr; Jason (Stephanie) Farr; Doug Farr; Stephanie (Dan) Fritsch; Rachel Farr; Sean Farr; Amanda LeCaptain; Jennifer LeCaptain; Michael LeCaptain; Cory (Tara) Schwoebel; Cortney, Casey, Brian, Nichele, Brandon, Kira and Heidi; eleven great great grandchildren: son-in-law: Darrell Farr, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Harry Herion; one daughter: Carole Farr; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Earl (Evelyn) Holub; Elsworth (Theresa) Holub; one sister: Dolores Shaw.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Dr. Jim Klein will officiate. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
