(1926 - 2017)

Leonard E. Reznichek, age 91, formerly of the town of Franklin, passed away Sunday morning, July 16, 2017 at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc where he has been a resident for the past 6 years.

Leonard was born on April 20, 1926 in the town of Franklin, son of the late Edward and Lorina (Zipperer) Reznichek, Sr. He attended local area schools. Leonard farmed in the township of Franklin until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville and a past member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. In his younger years, Leonard enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law: Edward E. (Donna) Reznichek, Jr., Reedsville; Carole Reznichek, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Lorina Reznichek, Sr.; two brothers and one sister-in-law: John Reznichek; Robert (Florence) Reznichek; one sister and brother-in-law: Georgianna (Leroy) Hill, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Avenue, Kellnersville. The Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maple Grove. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Kellnersville on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. A parish prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. led by Sr. Gerri Krautkramer.
