She was born in Benjamin, Utah, January 23, 1923, to Guy and Inez Johnson. Sealed to her sweetheart "T""J" in the Salt Lake Temple February 27, 1942.
Joyce lived a life of service. She dedicated her time and talents to her family and in the service of the Lord. Joyce was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She taught them to develop their talents and work hard. She was a great seamstress, cook, and homemaker. She served in many callings in the church, and found great joy in the music department serving as Primary chorister, and ward choir director. She even held choir practice in her home.
Joyce and "T""J" had the opportunity to serve a full time mission in the Washington Spokane Mission. Their mission was a great experience for them and the people they served, building many lasting friendships.
Preceded in death by her husband "T""J", parents Guy and Inez, sisters Pearl, Anna Marie, and brother Keith. Survived by her children, Karen (Jim) Wright, Janette (Eric) Fawcett, Jerry (Deborah) Cloward, Wendy (John) Collins, Diane Hart, Suzanne (Glenn) Lake, Julie (Jeff) Jensen, 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
