CLYDE A. COCHRAN
(1884-1959)
Clyde A. Cochran, 75, of 4005 Pleasant Ave., died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness.
Mr. Cochran was a barber in New Boston for 40 years and for many years was the 4th Ward councilman in New Boston.
Born Jan. 23, 1884, he was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Mrs. Oma Mae Keller Cochran.
He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Maude Cochran; four brothers, Henry Cochran of Springfield, Ohio, and Eddie Cochran, George Cochran and McKinley Cochran, all of Jackson County, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Watson of Urbana, Ohio.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Street Christian Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Roy Heimbach officiating. Burial is to be in Memorial Burial Park under the direction of Warren Funeral Home, where friends may call after 6 tonight and until noon Sunday, when the body will be moved to the church.
