"Cab Calloway's mother dies at 62. Mrs. Eulalia Fortune, mother of band leader Cab Calloway, who died in Baltimore Saturday, will be buried in Mt. Lawn Cemetery, this city, following services at St. Augustine's Church, 20th St. and Columbus Ave, at noon tomorrow.
Mrs. Fortune, who was 62, lived at 1613 W. Butler St., in the home purchased for her by her daughter, Blanche Calloway, herself a former orchestra leader. Mrs. Fortune was a former organist at the Grace Presbyterian Church here and at Trinity Church in Baltimore.
