Our angel passed away in her home May 5, 2009. Alberta Lavonne Anderson was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was born January 19, 1933 in Colorado Spring, Colorado to Albert and Edna Eads.
Alberta is survived by her three loving children, Richard (Sandra Dorsey) Willcox, Deborah (Terry) Davidson, and David (Crystal) Anderson, nine grandchildren and eleven great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Carl Eads. Alberta taught her family love, respect, and independence. She was a caregiver by both profession and in everyday life. She touched peoples hearts and will be dearly missed by all.
Final services will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Dinner for family and friends will follow at the VFW Hall, 753 S. Santa Fe Avenue, Fountain, CO 80017.
