Mrs. Brady graduated from Sulphur High School in 1966 and then married Dane Brady on July 29, 1967. After high school she obtained a degree in electrolysis. Mrs. Brady was a devoted member of Lake Charles Bible Church. She was the Secretary for the State of Louisiana's Republican Party for thirteen years. She enjoyed running Republican political campaigns, organizing weddings, and hosting church parties.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dane Brady; daughter, Josie McGee and her husband, John, and their daughter, Megan; son, Albert Smith; two sisters, Vera Gerstenberg and husband Ken, and Bobbie Sue Fortin and husband, George; brother, Robert Wilkinson and wife, Melissa; sister-in-law, Sherry Wilkinson; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Avis Wilkinson; and brother, Joe Wilkinson.
A funeral service was held at Lake Charles Bible Church in Lake Charles on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at noon with Rev. Phil Carpenter officiating. Private burial followed at Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
