Katherine Bernise (Aldridge) Smith, age 87, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.
Born December 19, 1932 in Macon, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Milton and Ave (Nowel) Aldridge. Before retirement she worked in electronics at Warner Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Smith was a member of the East Lavonia Church of God.
She is survived by her husband: A.C. Smith; sons: David Smith and Timothy Smith; grandson: Matthew Smith; sister: Hazel Goodwin; and brothers: Anthony Aldridge and Bobby Aldridge.
