Services for Maggie Lee Williams, 95, of Lufkin will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Josserand near Groveton. Pastor C. L. Mayfield and the Rev. H. Dolphus, Sr. will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Josserand Memorial Park.
Mrs. Williams was born April 27, 1897, in Josserant and died Saturday in a local nursing home. She had resided in Lufkin for several years. Mrs. Williams was a retired domestic and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she had been active as choir and mission president and secretary of the Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include 2 sisters, a brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, a nephew whom she raised as a son, and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces.
Deacons of Mt. Olive Baptist Church will be honorary pallbearers.
