"The death of Mrs. Lucy Tittsworth, wife of Mr. Mark Tittsworth, and mother of Mrs. Leonard Jackson, was announced in these columns yesterday morning. The funeral will take place from the First M.
E. church this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Tittsworth was a native of Belfast, Allegheney county, New York, and was fifty-three years old. Coming to Wichita with her husband and children fifteen
years ago, and living here continually ever since, she was widely known. She was a woman of singular earnestness and of a spotless christian character, whose home was to her the dearest spot on earth, its loves, duties and responsibilities her pleasure and highest ambition. She leaves a husband, two daughters and a son to mourn her loss from a home that will never seem the same happy place again."
