Dr. Albert O. Hooker, age 63, died in San Jose on Aug. 27, 1908, and was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, Marion Abbott Hooker, and children Edwin A., Francis A., and L. Verne Hooker of San Jose, and Ivy E. Prevost of Los Angeles. Dr. Hooker was born in Vermont in 1845 and graduated from the Dental College of Harvard University. He practiced his profession for many years in Michigan until coming to San Jose in 1875 for a change of climate. He was the former president of the San Jose Dental Association.
