Florence A. Rinzel, 90, of the Town of Wayne, fell asleep in the arms of God on Friday, Dec. 5, 1997, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1907, in Milwaukee, a daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Brown Batzler. On Oct. 23, 1940, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Rinzel at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Granville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1989.
Mrs. Rinzel was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church in
St. Kilian.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Jr. (Lynn) of North Fond du Lac, and Jospeh (Catherine) of the Town of Wayne; three daughters, Kathleen Rinzel, Maureen (Steven) Hein and Rosemary (Alton) Schrauth, all of the Town of Wayne; two brothers, Joseph (Lorraine) Batzler of Menomonee Falls, and John (Helen) Batzler of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Lucille (Daniel) Kaczmarek and Vernie (John) Fox, all of Milwaukee, and June Kneifl of Kewaskum; 16 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Batzler; and a sister, Margaret Batzler.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian, with the Rev. Jerome Rinzel officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.mm. Wednesday at the parish cemetery.
Visitation: From 4 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Kilian Building Fund or to the Order of Sisters of St. Joan Antida.
