RUSSELL F. ERDMANN
(1936 - 2017)

Two Rivers — Russell F. Erdmann, age 81, of 1315 Buchholz St. Two Rivers, died peacefully early Saturday morning, December 23, 2017 at North Ridge Health & Rehabilitation of Manitowoc.

Russ was born in Manitowoc on April 25, 1936, son of the late Elmer and Agnes Kolbeck Erdmann. He was a 1954 graduate of Lincoln High School, and served his country as a member of the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961, which included 18 months in Germany. Russ married Donna Williquette at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Two Rivers on August 25, 1956. The couple were longtime members of St. Mark's Catholic Church, now St. Peter the Fisherman Parish; and have been members of the Coming Home Choir of St. Peter the Fisherman for many years. Russ retired from Formrite Tube Co. in 1998 after 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; a sister, Doris Meyer, and a sister-in-law, Arlene Erdmann, both of Manitowoc; one brother-in-law, Allan (Joan) Williquette of Lena; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his father & mother-in-law, Clarence and Julia Williquette; one sister, Marian (Ken) Detert; two brothers, Paul (Lorraine) Erdmann and Richard Erdmann; and two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Meyer and Robert (Christine) Williquette.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded at the church immediately following the mass by members of VFW Post #1248 and American Legion Post #165 of Two Rivers.

Friends may call at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
