Allen Miles Heyroth, age 71, of Two Rivers, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at home with his loving family.
He was born Aug. 18, 1938, in Milwaukee, to the late Miles and Agnes (Semanske) Heyroth. He graduated from Denmark High School in 1956, and from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1961. Allen served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964, earning the rank of Lieutenant. He retired from Kraft Foods, Inc. in 1993, after 30 years in the areas of quality assurance and operations. After retiring to Two Rivers, Allen enjoyed working part time at the Emerald Hills Golf Course.
Allen is survived by his loving wife, Ellen J. (Lane) Heyroth; two sons: Myles L. of Chicago, Ill.; and Glen A. of Two Rivers; and one sister, Diane Heyroth of Green Bay.
A visitation will be held at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. There will be no formal funeral service held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Allen's name would be appreciated to Pancreatic Cancer Research. More information on the Research Fund, can be found at www.pancan.org.
