In 1850 Obediah, age 8, was living with Catherine Reese, who may have been his grandmother. He is not found in 1860. He returned to Clarion County after the war and on 30 Nov 1865 married Isabella Stover. In 1870, Obediah Fox [no middle initial listed] was in Licking Township living with his wife Isabella and their daughter Sarah, under one year of age. His occupation was day laborer. In 1880, Obed E. Fox was a carpenter living in village of Easton with his wife Isabella and daughter Sarah L, aged 10, and son Ira M, aged 8. The 1910 census for Licking Township, Clarion County, lists him as Obediah E. Fox, a farmer, still living with his wife Isabella. His pension index card indicates that Isabella filed for a widow's pension in 1913.
