Muriel B. Collins, 90, of Tallahassee, FL died Monday, November 7th, at Big Bend Hospice.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 10th.

A native of DeFuniak Springs and longtime resident of Tallahassee, she was married to Marvin Bishop of DeFuniak Springs and later married Marvin Collins Jr. of Tallahassee. She was actively involved in her community as a member of the First Methodist Church, the Tallahassee Capital Lioness Club and the Elkettes Club.

She is survived by her daughters Joyce Bishop of Seattle, Judy Vickoren of Atlanta and Sandra Shoop of Tallahassee; two sisters, Earlene Iacullo of Chicago and Christine Swinney of Louisville; a son Marvin Collins, III of Tallahassee; one brother, Melvin Paul of Ponce de Leon; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that those wishing to do so make contributions to Big Bend Hospice.
