Bonnie was born October 26, 1938, in Decatur, the daughter of Edwin Ambrose and Della May (Cook) Ryan and was later adopted by Edward Winfield Marshall. A longtime member of Northwest Christian Church, Bonnie worked for many years as a professional seamstress at Von Maur. She loved to garden and read.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Robert Ryan.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Ed and wife, Tracy Barding of Decatur, Cathy and husband, Tom Tomlinson of IN, and Jr Barding of Decatur; grandchildren: Janet and husband, Travis Kling, Ryan Barding, Adam and wife, Lauren Tomlinson, Andrew Tomlinson and wife, Dianna Griffey, Daniel Tomlinson, John Tomlinson, and Lucas Barding; great grandchildren: Nathanael and Caleb Tomlinson, Sawyer and Fletcher Kling.
Private family graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery. A formal memorial service is being planned.
Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
