BELCHER, Walter F., 93, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at his home. He was born to A. Russell & Helen (Cahill) Belcher on July 2, 1926 in Winthrop, Massachusetts. Walter was a retired driver with the Teamsters. He was a member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church. Walter served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of AMVETS #99 and American Legion Post #746. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years, Mary Lou Belcher, in 2019, and his brother, James Russell Belcher. Survived by his sons, George R., Michael F. (Sandee), Timothy R. & Steven R. Belcher (Cheryl); numerous grandchildren and great/great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery on a future date
