Rodney was born on 16 Feb. 1937 at Two Rivers, Manitowoc Co., Wisconsin; died on 10 June 1979 at Wasilla, Matanuska Susitna, Alaska.

Rodney married first Sandra Lynne LAHEY on 6 Sept. 1958 at Two Rivers, Manitowoc Co., Wisconsin. They may have divorced in 1970; Sandra commenced divorce proceedings in 1966, but they were initially dismissed.

Rodney, of Big Lake, Alaska, died when his Yamaha motorcycle left the road at 5.2 Mile Big Lake Road and crashed into the ditch [Fairbanks Pioneer All Alaska Weekly, 15 June 1979, page 6].

Rodney enlisted in the U.S. Navy on 10 November 1954 and was discharged on 5 March 1958.

Rodney was survived by his two sons, Michael Edward, and Mark.

His burial place is not currently known.
