Melba Jane Roberts-Wright, age 60 of Gorman, passed away May 13, 2020 at her home with family by her side. Melba was born on August 13, 1959 in Brownwood to John Wesley Johnston and Jean Irene (Rust) Johnston. Melba is survived by her husband Quintin Wright of Gorman, one son Thomas Shaylor Roberts of Albany, one daughter Shannon Jean Darville of DeLeon, two brothers: Joey Johnston and James Johnston both of Ranger, one sister Wanda Dossey also of Ranger and 6 grandchildren. Melba was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Gene Johnston and John Wesley Johnston Jr(stillborn).
After Melba graduated High School she attended college for two years. She married Quintin Wright on July 25, 2019 and they were married until she passed away.
