WORKMAN BADLY SCALDED

Louis Puls, who is employed in the veneer mill of the Eggers Company had the misfortune to fall into a vat of hot water yesterday morning and was badly scalded. The vat is used to boil logs in before they are cut into veneer and had the water been of the temperature usually used for the purpose, Puls would have lost his life. He fell into the tank which contained nearly three feet of water and was immediately pulled out by fellow workmen. His injuries are quite severe but he will recover.
