A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on June 3, 1992, for Elmer George Priegnitz, Jr., at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers, at 11:30 a.m. Fr. Greg Smith officiating. Elmer died May 19, 1992, at his residence in Spring Valley, Calif.
Elmer is the brother of Frances Parks of Manitowoc and Mildred DeKok of Two Rivers. He was retired from the Navy for many years. His parents were Elmer George Priegnitz, Sr., and Dorothy H. Hulick Priegnitz. He was born December 10, 1920, at Whitney Point, N.Y. Elmer is a descendant of two early Wisconsin settler families, Anton and Anna Grimm, Sr., and Friedrich and Caroline Priegnitz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wandalee, two brothers, Richard and John Priegnitz, and his parents. He is survived by his twin sisters, Frances Parks and Mildred (Arnold) DeKok and step-daughter, Barbara Jean (John) Conrad of Alamo, Calif.; 9 nieces and nephews, and 13 grand nieces and nephews.
The VFW and American Legion posts of Two Rivers will conduct graveside rites at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
