OBITUARY

THOMAS DAMRELL

Thomas Willard Damrell, 81, of Sherlbina, died at 12:25 PM, Wednesday, May 25 at a Hannibal hospital. He had been ill for some time.
He was born December 12, 1890 near Shelbyville, a son of Tolliver and Mary Elizabeth Beath Damrell. He attended Shelby county rural schools, was a member of the 100F Lodge and the United Methodist Church of Shelbina.
On December 19, 1917, he was married at Lakenan to Enid Moser. With the exception of a few years in Paris, they spent their married life in Shelbina.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Merritt of Liberty; a sister, Mrs. Virgil Alexander of Shelbina; nieces and nephews. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. The Rev. Edward Watkins officiated with burial at the Shelbina cemetery.
