Ida Mae Brough Meng, passed away quietly Tuesday April 21, 2015 at the age of 80. Born May 28, 1934 to George Floyd and Mearl (Anderson) Brough, She was a lifelong resident of Tooele. Ida met and married Charles Paul Meng November 14, 1952; the marriage was later solemnized the in the Manti Temple. Together they raised nine children. Ida worked at the Tooele Army Depot from 1991until her retirement. She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved little children; they brought great joy to her. Ida is survived by her children Donna Elaine Keske, Pennsylvenia; Rose Marie Thayer, Murray; Evah Moore, Salt Lake City; Charles LaMar Meng, Tennessee; Shirley (Leon) Orton, Logan; and Merry Meng, Tooele as well as 29 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She is joined in death her parents, two sisters, her husband and three daughters. Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the LDS 27th Ward 200 South Coleman; where friends may call beginning at 11:00 a.m. Following Services, Internment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery.
