Charlie Hall Adams, Sr., 88, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born May 11, 1925 to the late Cyrus and Mabel Terry Adams. Charlie was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and was retired from Bekins Van Lines. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II and the Battle of the Bulge. He served on the Chatham County Board of Education and was a member of the Sertoma Club.

He is survived by his four children, daughter, Paula Edwards (Daniel), of Savannah, daughter, Terry Smith (Wayne), of Savannah, son, Charlie H. Adams, Jr. (Kate), of California, and daughter, Stacy Palmer (Philip), of Savannah. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Catherine Scott, of Oregon, eight grandchildren, Derek, Dustin, and David Medsker, Adam and Jake Parker, Natalie, Christine, and Kimberly Adams, and also eleven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.
