Desert Sun Mar 7, 1966 Well known Coachella Valley rancher, Richard Sirak Bagdasarian, 56, of 1965 Calle Marcus, died Saturday in Indio after a sudden illness. Born in Fresno, Bagdasarian lived in the Coachella Valley for 20 years. He had lived in the state ail his life. He was the owner of several grape and date ranches east o# Thermal and owned a grape packing plant in Mecca under the name of Richard Sdrak Bagdasarian. Inc. He was president of the Coachella Valley Grape League. He Is survived by his wife, Madeline: one daughter, Judy of Beverly Hills: his father, Dickran Bagdasarian of Fresno;
and two brothers. Harry Bagdasarian of Sehna, Calif, and Ross Bagdasarian of Beverly • Hills. Funeral services will be at 2 I p.m. Tuesday at the Wiefels & Son Mortuary Chapel. The Rw. James H. Blackstone. Jr., pastor of the Palm Springs Community Church, will officiate. Burial win be in Desert Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests that those who wish send contributions to the Canter Fund or Angel View Hospital.
