He was the son of David R. and Alvina C. Anselm.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rose, whom he married on July 7, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois; his children, Gretchen LeMieux, Susan Anselm, David (Elaine) Anselm, Barbara Anselm Jo (Barry) Gehn, Valerie Anselm, Peter Anselm, and Philip Anselm; grandchildren, Christine, Karen, Robert, Benjamin, Aaron, Matthew, Ruth, Nickolas, Keith, Marie and Victoria; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Duane (Ruth) Anselm; several nieces; nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Avenue in Brockport. His Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, at 10:30 a.m., in the Church of the Nativity in Brockport. Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
