Ira was a retired farmer and spent most of his life in the Elkhart area.At one time Ira was a night watchman in the town of Elkhart.I think he would have been a deputy sheriff because he was issued a gun for this position.
Ira Easley passed away at 12:45p.m. Friday in the Elkhart Nursing Home.Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. in Hassell & Foster Chapel with the Rev.G.B.(Buddy) Neal officiating.
