Atlanta Constitution - 4/4/1913 - Griffin, Ga, April 3 - The funeral of Mrs. elizabeth J. Westbrook was held from her late residence on West Broad street Thursday morning at 10 am and was largely attended. Rev. J. E. Sammons, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated and the interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

She was born in Pike County, August 19, 1836 and was married 5/1/1856 to Captain John S. Westbrook, who she sruvived only a few months. She had been a consistent member of the Baptist hurch for sixty-three years and as long as she was physically able, took a great interest in the church and its work.

The deceased is survived by one son, Mrs. Charles H. Westbrook, of Griffin and two daughters, Mrs.Estelle Daniel of Brooklyn, New York and Mrs.F. E. Morton, of Wadley, besides a large family connection, who have the deepest sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.
