She was born August 26, 1909 in Archer, Idaho to Edwin Worrell Stacey and Charlotte Wylie Stacy. She was raised in Archer and Sunnydell and attended schools there.
On August 26, 1927 she married Ross Buckland in Sunnydell. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.
She worked with the Red Cross. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she taught in the Primary, Young Women, Relief Society, and served in the library. She was a member of the Sunnydell Thimble Club and the Rigby Senior Citizens. At election time, she served as an election judge; and was a staunch voter. She loved her yard and garden, and most of all she loved her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Della (Dean) Holverson of Idaho Falls; a son, Steve (Gladys) Buckland of Menan, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Joann Buckland of Sunnydell; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery in Archer.
