Bennie Ray Bailey, 52, of Ike's Fork, died Saturday morning in a Welch hospital.
Born Aug. 7, 1933 at Mohawk, he was a son of the late Calloway and Cosby Cline Bailey. He was a miner and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors: wife, Marie Powell Bailey of the home; son, Rodney Bailey; daughter, Sharon K. Bailey; brothers, Elmer Bailey and Hassle Bailey, both of Iaeger, Teddy Bailey of Panther and Wetzel Bailey of Huntington; sisters, Frankie Lester and Hazel Carter, both of Iaeger, and Gladys Collins of Texas.
Funeral will be at noon Tuesday at Morning Star Regular Baptist Church on Long Pole near Iaeger with Rev. Edgar Riffe and the Elder Mervin Riffe officiating and burial at Bailey Family Cemetery on Long Pole near Panther.
