RANDOLPH MAN LOST IN FRANCE
RANDOLPH, June 7----Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hagenmaier, of Randolph, received word Wednesday June 7, that their son, Staff Sgt. Ralph G(C). Hagenmaier has been missing in action over France since May 27.
He has been in the army since February 24, 1941. He transferred to the Army Air Corps in September 1943, from Camp Rucker, Ala., to Harlingen Army airfield, Texas.
He has been stationed in England since April as a waist gunner on a Liberator bomber.
Previous to going overseas, Hagenmeier took training at Camp Robinson, Ark., was several months in California, on maneuvers in Tennessee, received his wings at Harlingen, Tex., was stationed at Salt Lake City, Utah, and at Sioux City, Ia. He is unmarried.
