Lola Mae Vines Poole is the daughter of Hettie Gorman Vines and William Lacey Vines born in Bradley County and lived there until 1959 when the family moved to Crossett, Arkansas. Lola had eight children, one still born(Albert Dan Poole buried in Gravel Ridge Cemetery) one daughter died at 18 months old (Bessie Loraine Poole buried in Gravel Ridge Cemetery in Bradley County, Arkansas)
Lola had three brothers and 4 sisters.

Lola Mae Poole, 83, of Crossett died Monday, January 7, 2002, at the Ashley County Medical Center. Born on December 26, 1918, in Bradley County to Willie and Hettie Gorman Vines, she was a devoted mother and homemaker and an active member of the First Assembly of God in Crossett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence A. Poole; two sons, Albert Dan and Willie Clyde Poole; and a daughter, Bessie Lorene Poole.
Survivors include two sons, David and Nolan Poole; three daughters, Nora Johnson and Sara Battaglia, all of Crossett, and Jean Helmer of Springdale; two sisters, Vera Otulak of Baldwin Park, CA, and Ruby Vines of Warren; 13 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, 14 nieces, nine nephews, and her church family and friends.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, in the First Assembly of God with Bro. Bob Perry and Rev. Norman Riordan officiating. Pallbearers were Tim, Kerri and Mike Poole, Wayne Mosley, Tony Battaglia, John Ward, Mike Maxwell and Bobbie McKenzie. Burial followed services at Pinewood Memorial Park, with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett
