rchie Thomas “Tommy” Bozovich, 81, departed this life on Tuesday February 13, 2018 to be with his Lord and Savior after several years of declining health. Tommy was born February 8, 1937 in Greensboro, the son of Steve William Bozovich, Sr. and Johncie Hardin Bozovich. Tommy lived his 81 years in Greensboro where he owned and operated Tommy’s Sunoco at Lee St. and Battleground Ave. in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. He later worked with Creative Pools Sales and Service. He was an active member of the former Florida Street Baptist Church. Tommy will be remembered for his quick infectious smile, generosity and kind heart. He was a loving and caring father, pawpaw, brother and uncle. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Steve William Bozovich, Jr., Herman, Bobby, Jimmy and David Bozovich and four sisters, Pauline Bozovich McCraw, Dorothy Bozovich, Carolyn Bozovich and Norma Jean Bozovich. He is survived by his three daughters, Carol B. Meredith (David) of Kernersville, Charlotte B. Morgan (Gary) of Charlotte, Wendy B. Cuneo (Pete) of Greensboro; wife, Ann Bozovich of St. Simon Island, GA; one brother, Charles Bozovich (Susan); four special nieces who were like sisters, Pat Bisher (Gary), Ruby “Pug” Kepley (Vernon), Peggy Oakley (Tommy), Kay Parrish (Jerry); three nephews, Daryl Bozovich (Emily), Phillip Bozovich (Michelle), Skipper Bozovich (Linda) and two nieces, Sandra Cox (Ronald) and Gail Longmire (Rege). Tommy was the proud PawPaw to four granddaughters, Katie Meredith Veazey (Scott), Tiz Cornick Federal (Alex), Laura Meredith Bray (Adam), Ellie Cornick Cummings (Chris) and four great grandchildren, Sydney Veazey, Charlotte Federal, Milly Bray and Miller Cummings. The family is grateful to the compassionate caregivers at Friends Homes at Guilford and the Greensboro Hospice and Palliative Care. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Bob Glasgow. The family will receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Tommy’s memory to Friends Home at Guilford, 925 New Garden Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410 or to the Greensboro Hospice and Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405
