Mrs. Alice Emery
Parsons-- Services were Tuesday at Carson Funeral Home here for Mrs. Alice Margaret Emery, 77, Route 4, Parsons, who died Sunday in a hospital here. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at Parsons.
She was born Jan. 1, 1892, at Calhoun, Mo., and had lived in the Parsons community since 1912. She was a charter member of United Faith Methodist Church at Parsons.
Survivors include her husband, Jess Emery, at home; a daughter, Bonnie Emery, Tulsa, Okla.; five sons, Jess W. Emery, Tonganoxie, James R. Emery, 4428 Twilight Drive and Lee Emery, 1295 Randolph, both in Topeka; John R. Emery, Los Angeles, Calif., and Thomas Emery at home; three sisters, Mrs. L.J. Rush and Mrs. Virginia Decker, both of Parsons, and Mrs. Lucille Burns, Abilene, Tex.; a brother, Leland Sharp, Alma, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
