Dorothy E. Witting Greller, 72, of the Essington section of Tinicum Township, died Dec. 13 at her daughter's home in Ridley Township,
Mrs. Greller was born in Philadelphia to the late Albert Wittig and Eleanor Adams. She graduated from West Philadelphia High School in 1952.
She worked for Westinghouse at the Lester plant for 10 years. At the time of her death, she was employed at Piazza Honda of Philadelphia, where she had worked for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Greller was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary Post 7213 in Norwood. She was also a member of Collingdale Senior Citizens Club.
She enjoyed going on bus trips to the casinos on a monthly basis.
In her earlier days, Mrs. Greller enjoyed cooking and entertaining, as well as playing bingo. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother who was always devoted, fair, and never judgmental.
She was the widow of the late Frank Greller, and the daughter of the late Albert Wittig and Eleanor Adams.
Survivors: Daughters Roberta Jones of Edgemere, Md., Francine Gordon of Roslyn, Donna Ferry of Milmont Park, Ridley Township; stepsons, Eugene Greller of Tinicum, Dennis Greller of St. Cloud, Fla.; sister of Eleanor Allen of Sharon Hill; eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Monday at James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton.
Life Celebration: 6-8 tonight, with a Ladies Auxiliary Service at 7 at the funeral home.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, Concord Township.
