Cora Ellen Bessey, eldest daughter of Jacob and Catharine Bessey, died of spinal disease in Orange, Ionia County, Michigan, July 27, 1881, after a long and severe illness rejoicing in the midst of death in prospect of a home in heaven. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord." May the deeply afflicted parents meet her again in that land, where there'll be no sorrow.
