Gangster. Brother to Thomas Egan, Willie Egan took over the Egan's Rats upon his brother's death. He lasted only two years on top before he was murdered on Halloween night, 1921 outside his Franklin Avenue saloon. Egan's killers were thought to be members of the rival Hogan Gang. Upon Willie's death, the mob was taken over by William "Dint" Colbeck.
