Dancer, actor. Most noted for playing the shyster lawyer Algonquin J. Calhoun in the Amos n' Andy televsion program.He played the part of the underhanded, crooked Lawyer "Algonquin J. Calhoun" in the Amos n' Andy weekly television series. He was also the voice of "Brer Rabbit" in the Walt Disney movie "Song of The South".
He passed away at the age of 67 in California.Best known in the United States for his role as the shyster lawyer, "Algonquin J. Calhoun" which aired in 1950-51. A very talented singer actor and dancer. He was the voice for Br'er Rabbit in "Song of the South" which bears his voice.
