He starting getting sick when I was about twenty two and by twenty four I didn't see him anymore. Alzheimers took him as well as my mom. People who have dealt with it know that a person "dies" long before he really dies. I missed him when he was still alive. I missed him when he was right in front of me.
My father is in heaven now. In life he was a funny person who loved to laugh. He loved a good practical joke and old tv shows like "The Honeymooners" and "Benny Hill". We watched them together every night. I pray that now he is whole again.. because I miss his laugh.
Son of the late Asher and Norma (Trach) Jones. He was the husband of the recently departed Lorraine (Miller) Jones. Sterling worked for 35 years at Mack Trucks in Allentown. He succumbed to pneumonia at Easton Hospital after a long illness. He is survived by one Son, one Daughter, a Sister and a Brother-in-law. May he rest in peace.
I want to thank ~Bluejean~ ILM My Angels^ from the bottom of my heart for sponsoring my Dad's page. It is deeply touching and appreciated. Please visit her and leave some nice flowers if possible. :)
